9th Annual Townsend Luncheon

 

Please join Child & Family on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, for our 9th Annual Townsend Luncheon to benefit our Child & Family Programs.

The event will run from 12 PM to 2PM at OceanCliff Hotel, 65 Ridge Rd, Newport, RI.

Child & Family’s 9th Annual Townsend Luncheon celebrates Ellen Townsend and her founding of Child & Family, originally an orphanage called the Home for Friendless Children, in 1866. This year’s luncheon will highlight the important work of providing the continuum of care for the families we serve. The event will be an elegant sit-down lunch, at the spectacular OceanCliff Hotel in Newport, RI, with speakers to include Child & Family leadership, Community Partners, and clients

A guest list will be held at the door; no tickets will be mailed.

As you know, the past few years have been challenging for everyone. Services provided by Child & Family have never been in such demand as they are right now, with waitlists in every one of our programs. Between the pandemic, the housing crisis, and inflation, the most vulnerable population in our community desperately needs our help. Child & Family is always looking for Community Partners to support our programs.
