On Monday, March 2, 2020, Child & Family hosted a Taste of Newport Culinary Partner appreciation and kick-off event to thank all the people that make their annual fundraiser, Taste of Newport, possible. The event was also an opportunity to introduce Child & Family’s 2020 initiative of raising awareness and funds for their Supportive Housing Programs. Child & Family Board of Directors Member Kate Hoepfner and her husband Ed Karle hosted the event.
Child & Family’s Supportive Housing Program is committed to helping homeless families access the skills and services needed to obtain permanent housing. Their Supportive Housing Programs benefit families and children in crisis, including those aging out of the foster care system.
