Child & Family Hosts Taste of Newport Culinary Partner Appreciation & Kick-off Event Monday, March 2, 2020

On Monday, March 2, 2020, Child & Family hosted a Taste of Newport Culinary Partner appreciation and kick-off event to thank all the people that make their annual fundraiser, Taste of Newport, possible. The event was also an opportunity to introduce Child & Family’s 2020 initiative of raising awareness and funds for their Supportive Housing Programs. Child & Family Board of Directors Member Kate Hoepfner and her husband Ed Karle hosted the event.

Child & Family’s Supportive Housing Program is committed to helping homeless families access the skills and services needed to obtain permanent housing. Their Supportive Housing Programs benefit families and children in crisis, including those aging out of the foster care system.

The Child & Family 37th Annual Taste of Newport will be held at the Wyndham Newport at the Atlantic Resort Sunday, October 25, 2020. Child & Family is grateful to everyone who supports their programs year-round including those that gave support at Taste in 2019; Fluke Newport, The White Horse Tavern, The French Confection, Stoneacre Brasserie, 22 Bowen’s Wine Bar & Grille, Blackstone Caterers, BRIX Restaurant at Newport Vineyards, Castle Hill Inn, Johnny’s Restaurant & Patio Bar at the Wyndham Newport Hotel, Kitchen Companion Catering, La Forge Casino Restaurant, M.S.
