Throughout my career in human services, I have worked with many different women who have provided me with advice and guidance. This has proven helpful in my work with the different populations, departments, and organizations I’ve been involved with. This includes but is not limited to local and state government-run agencies such as nursing homes, home care agencies, the Office of Healthy Aging (OHA), and the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). I have the camaraderie shared between myself and those I have worked with, and they have given me the tools I need to be a more confident, independent woman in this field. I love what I do and who I am currently working with. I am honored to be a woman in human services who is striving to be a support and resource not only for the clientele that I serve but also for other young women who are just getting started.
