Child & Family is grateful to the Rhode Island Foundation and United Way of Rhode Island for facilitating a grant through their COVID-19 Response Fund to support Child & Family’s efforts in addressing community needs during this crisis. The COVID-19 Response Fund Grants are available to Rhode Island nonprofit organizations at the forefront of COVID-19 response, thanks to many generous donors, and a partnership between the Rhode Island Foundation and United Way of Rhode Island.
Grants are awarded to support nonprofit organizations providing direct assistance to Rhode Islanders with financial need or demonstrable hardship resulting from COVID-19. The grants aim to complement the work of public health officials by expanding local capacity to address the outbreak’s social, health, and economic impacts in the short and long term
Child & Family is also proud to have been a part of United Way of Rhode Island’s Inaugural 401Gives day of giving campaign that ran on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. Child & Family ranked 13th out of 375 non-profits throughout the state in total funds raised with over $19,000 in donations collected. Child & Family gives thanks to all the donors who participated in this historic day in Rhode Island.
