Kitchen in a Basket

Child & Family’s Supportive Housing Program helps homeless families with children achieve stable residency and financial independence.


The goal of the “Kitchen in a Basket” program is to provide families entering our Supportive Housing Program with kitchen basics. The baskets will be full of new and useful items the families can use now in the kitchen of their apartment unit and will be able to take with them when they leave Supportive Housing and obtain permanent, independent housing.

Here is list of the types of items we seek:

    • Dinner Plates
    • Bowls
    • Cups Glasses
    • Flatware
    • Serving Bowl
    • Skillet
    • Pot with Lid/Pasta Pot
    • Knives
    • Cutting Board
    • Colander (Pasta Strainer)Mixing Bowls
    • Measuring Cups
    • Measuring Spoons

 

 

    • Wooden Spoons
    • Salt & Pepper Shakers
    • Can Opener
    • Spatula Turner Whisk
    • Vegetable Peeler
    • Cooking Sheet
    • Dish Towels
    • Potholder
    • Sponges
    • Microwave,
    • Toaster,
    • Coffee Maker,
    • and other small appliances
