Child & Family was established in 1866 to support the children and families of Newport County. Over the years they have expanded to servicing all of Rhode Island, from those as young as 6-weeks-old, to the other end of the lifespan with clients that are over 100-years-young!

Hello, my name is Michaela Murphy. I am the assistant supervisor of Child & Family’s Family Stabilization Program (FSP). I began my career at Child & Family after graduating from RIC with my bachelor’s in criminal justice. What I love about my job is the ability to connect with so many parents and youth at all stages in their journey in life. My job offers me the opportunity to work with my team to support families all over Rhode Island to provide effective case management and clinical support.
